Kleidon’s Work in Tourism Marketing Takes Top Award

Amish Country Ambassadors

The Amish Country Ambassadors logo won a first-place MIDDY Award from the Ohio Associate of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

Two marketing pieces created by Kleidon & Associates helped the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce win two MIDDY Awards from the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

A first-place MIDDY Award was given for the trademark design of the Amish Country Ambassadors Yellow Apron campaign. Receiving a second-place MIDDY Award was the 2011 “Hearts & Hands” travel planner and guide.

The "Hearts and Hands" guidebook for Ohio's Amish Country won a second-place MIDDY Award from the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

MIDDY Awards, named for the Midwest, are given annually for destination marketing and tourism development.

“Recipients are recognized for excellence in planning, creativity, effectiveness of message, concept and design,” said Diane Watson, chairperson of the OACVB MIDDY Awards for 2011.
